A specialist health portfolio agency sought to revolutionise their HR framework, partnering with 1 and One to navigate this complex transformation. Their goal was to evolve beyond outdated policies into a contemporary suite that would enable flexible work arrangements, strengthen performance management, and prioritize staff wellbeing – all while maintaining strict legislative compliance.

Drawing on our extensive HR and legal experience, we tackled the project in three phases:

Policy Architecture

We reviewed existing policies against best practice and legislative requirements, developing a modern framework that prioritises flexible work, performance management, and staff wellbeing. This included domestic violence support policies, streamlined recruitment processes, and comprehensive workplace health and safety guidelines.


Practical Implementation

The comprehensive implementation package included practical templates, step-by-step manager guides, visual decision aids, standardized forms, and assessment frameworks to ensure smooth adoption of the new policies.


Change Readiness

Clear staff guidance materials, comprehensive manager toolkits, targeted communication strategies, and evaluation frameworks were developed to support successful organisational change and policy adoption.
